I am primarily a self taught jewelry artist. My approach to learning various skills and techniques and incorporating them in my work has been eclectic and it continues in the same vein.
I started with simply stringing beads to make my initial necklaces and earrings. All along I absorbed all that I could from the net and from all the books that mattered that I could lay my hands on.
Being connected with exceptional artists around the world is a blessing too.
The journey and process of putting various components together using various techniques and skills is very meditative and fulfilling.
Each skill demands a an intense level of attention and internalization of the basics before it gives of itself to the artist….and I would like to believe that I persist and give what it takes to be able to celebrate the knowledge and expertise thus gained to handcraft my jewelry, unique and very individual.

Two more passions I love to indulge in when I’m not making beads or jewelry are doing Pottery and Calligraphy. I am convinced that these two disciplines too give a lot of themselves to the sensibility and sensitivity that collectively forge the jewelry I love to handcraft for the joy of creating and then sharing the tangible passion with all who’d join me in celebrating the intent and the interpretation. |
